Restaurant.com App Reviews

Mrs.

This app is very glitchy. I hope it opens when I try to redeem.

Please update to iOS 10

This app is so kluggy. It hasnt been updated since iOS 6. It is so buggy and constantly crashes on my iPad or iPhone. I love Restaurant.com, but this app is truly nasty. I have resorted to using the restaurant.com website, which isnt really that modern mobile friendly, but it works better than this app. I literally get a system pop up on my iPhone that this app may slow down my phone. Please invest in updating this app, so I can use restaurant.com without the hassle. And people, please stop telling people to read on how Restaurant.com works. I am sure the majority of people give up and think restaurant.com is a scam because the app is so kluggy.

Its a scam. Worst app

Very misleading app, slows down my iPhone, most restaurants are closed on the list, and the area from where you can choose is "limited" at best. Worst decision on Groupon Ive made by far, nothing but a nightmare since Ive downloaded.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

I would give negative stars if I could. I even read their terms and conditions before purchasing & they dont tell you till after that you have to spend a certain amount of money "in store" this is fraud. App should be removed completely!

STAY AWAY!

This is a rip off. They offer you low dollar amount certificates in the hope that you will buy multiples. The only problem with this is that you can only use one certificate at a time. I looked everywhere on the site prior to purchase and this is listed nowhere. It isnt until you get the certificates that this information is granted. They just want your money, stay away from these scam artists. To add insult to injury they have the site setup so you cannot even email them. Whats the problem, too many complaints to deal with?

Def a scam

I too got this at bjs very few restaurants to use it at and u need to spend money to get money off so I tried to use it today andvthe restaurant said she Couldnt do it. its a pain in the butt to do and the restaurant owner said they had to call to verify every claim what a joke

New update is worse than the crappy previous version!

I like the business model Ive used this to get good deals eating out, but the app is HORRIBLE! You have to login every time you open the app. I have to re ether certificate codes every time I want to use it. New update- zip code location feature doesnt work. Map feature no longer works so I have no idea what restaurants are near me without googling each address. Ridiculous! Why cant you guys hire a decent app builder and make something that actually works.

Not good deals

These deals are a scam. Minimum purchase AND you buy the discount. Buy $25 for $10 with a $75 purchase minimum? Thats saving $15 or at most 20%, which you can find an actual coupon for to a lot of places. Stick with Groupon

Fail to plan, plan to fail

Yes, yes, the title is a bit cliché but whole heartedly true. You wanted to create an app

Hate Having To Enter Password All The Time

Why does this app require a password every time I want to access it? There is a thing called "Touch ID" on iPhones.

Clunky, semi-reliable app

Purchased a local restaurant coupon that was housed on this app. When I tried to claim it (using an iPhone 7), the app made me log in THREE times. Once, while the bartender tried to redeem it, the app said it was "already redeemed". After a 4th try, it finally went through. What a hassle. I dont think Ill be using this again since there are plenty of other ways to collect and keep track of good deals.

SCAM

Ridiculous. I purchased a $25 gift card for $10 and after I viewed the gift card AFTER purchase it said I had to spend $50 at the restaurant to be able to use it! It didnt say that anywhere prior to purchasing it.

worst app ever

far too many fc. worst app ive ever used

Wants my Facebook password!

These guys dont even do OAuth right and they expect me to trust them with my Facebook password? The app is so abandoned that iOS says its out of date and slows down the phone.

Dont!

The company is a rip off and the app is sub par. Dont waste your money.

Useless

BJs "promo" when I renewed. Doesnt accept the code. Poor selection of restaurants. The only one I eat at is "expired" - would never eat at any of the others.

Abysmal

One of the worst services around, the restaurants available are terrible and places no one would go unless they had a gift card from here. Horrible website and service, would give 0 stars if possible.

Scam, scam, scam

I thought the $50 credit from BJs at the time I signed up was a great incentive to join. What a joke - they dont let you redeem the credit, and when you try to use it they require credit card information . . . and although you go through all of the steps to use your "credit balance" they charge your credit card and the so called BJs bonus "credit" is not accessible. What a rip off - - I will be canceling my BJs membership. (Note to Apple Store . . . you should remove applications that are designed to rip off your customers!)

Not great

My two biggest peeves with the app are that 1- it keeps logging me out, and 2- the search results are dodgy. I can enter a zip to search on, and get different search results on my computer and my phone.

Sign in required every time

An app that requires you to login every time you open is not an app. Its a mobile site....
